Our Story

Skiing is our passion. We live all year round for skiing. From when we were teenagers and used to pretend we were skiing by sticking our heads in the supermarket freezer or improving our balancing wheeling each other around standing up in a wheelbarrow. Our minds since then have been thinking skiing.
Even more now since summer glaciers are more accessible from the UK and form part of a year round season for a few resorts. As the nights draw in and the weather turns cold, dark and wet we go into overdrive as it means the season is near and we can start to analyses the snow reports and weather. The plans however started the moment the last winter season run was taken. Well even planning whilst skiing for the next skiing really. Flights are booked to a destination as soon as the schedules come out and it’s gearing up from there. A get away for a summer ski or to an indoor ski centre. Holland is a must on our next list, Europes largest centre. It’s skiing come on, why not! It may be a midsummers day but we are happy inside a huge freezer instead.
We are lifelong friends, both have young families and as with everyone, plenty of life commitments. This doesn’t stop us though from making sure we get between 20-30 days a year on snow. The knowledge we have built up from close to 35 years skiing is colossal. We aim for this site to be the go to place for information, resources, connections and your stories.
We are proof that there are no reasons not to be able to ski. On an average income we manage every year. Our methods make it incredibly accessible through being affordable. Admittedly we make other sacrifices but that’s because we are somewhat extreme in our zest. For that once a year adventure it’s certainly something that can be built into everyone’s calendar.
Skiing can be a wonderful family holiday, a getaway with friends or a couples retreat, regardless of age. Asking all and any one of our children, it’s the ski trips they remember, not those summer holidays.
